I am obsessed with rendering fantastical seascapes in clay. This obsession first started manifesting in 2016 when I put an octopus on a coffee cup for my older sister. Then, a starfish mug, a seahorse mug, and (my particular favorite from the earliest Sea Life pieces) the Mermaid Mug.
In 2019, I had the time and space to dedicate hours a day to making pottery, so I did.
A lot.
It has been a pretty well documented journey.
